Hello AB Future! It is wonderful to see your site and your organization thriving. . I heard about your team around the end of last year, and have been visiting your site to see your progress. Hat’s off to your team and all of their accomplishments over the past year. These young women are doing an outstanding job and their obvious hard work and dedication is paying off. Also to the coaches and webmaster, keep up the good work. It is wonderful what you all are doing for these young women and I comment you for your hard work and dedication to them. Nikkia came home yesterday (Feb 24th) and for the most part is doing well. She should be back to school on Monday; although she will be wheel chair bound. We really appreciate all the love and support from everyone. Nikkia is very touched by all the emails, postings, phone calls, and text messages wishing her well; she didn't realize how much people really cared. I want to send a special thank you to the AB Future Family, they were there for us from the beginning, showering us with love and support. Tell everyone we love them and will see them on Sunday cheering from the bleachers. Will & Michele Wright

Hi Coach Chestnut, We were so pleased to have the opportunity to meet you and your team! Thank you so much for bringing your young ladies to our game vs. NC State, and for waiting around after the game to talk with our staff. This is a GREAT site and there should be more like this. This is the type of information that we should be exposing our young people to and I salute all that have been instrumental in designing the site. It is important that we encourage young people, especially young black women, to strive to be successful and recognize them for doing so. These young women seem to be extremely talented and have accomplished wonderful things to be so young. To Alana Beard I would like to say thank you, and I encourage you to challenge your colleagues to participate in a community act such as this (if they do not already). I am 34 years young and did not have anything like this when I was 13. It is a shame because it would have been great for the community. To the parents and coaches of these young women I would like to say Great job! They could be doing any and everything else, but it appears that you all have them headed in the right direction. And lastly, but most importantly, to the young women on these teams: Excellent job!!! You all are beautiful young women that are headed in the right direction. I pray that you all are continuously encouraged by family and coaches and that you continue to encourage one another. These are wonderful things you all are doing and you have bright futures ahead of you. Stay focused, love yourselves, and love one another. God Bless.

I was very impressed with the on ball defense of this team. Coaches rotate players equally in and out of games. Players are discipline and play at a high level against older competition. Keep up the good work...! Jaynobili

Hi I am Morgans friend. I just wanted you to know that Morgan needs a better and up to date picture of herself because it is U.G.L.Y. Also they need more clear team pictures. Morgan was also on the Robert Goddard Middle School Basketball team, Dream Makers, South Bowie Boys and Girls Club, and Bowie Xpress. But other then that the site was really nice.
