AB's Future 12u, 13u & 14u Girls Basketball Program
(November 2009)

In two years, Alana Beard's Future teams and list of accomplishments are  growing with individual and team awards:

• 13u-James wins Fall League Championship (10/31/09)

• 13u team had 4/players selected to attend the Rites of Passage showcase

• 12u won 2009 the Potomac Valley Basketball - Summer League Championship

• (1) AB Future Player listed on ESPN Hoopgurlz.com Top 100 Watch List

• 14 & Under - came in 2nd place at the Blue Chip Tournament at Penn State (July 2009)

• Team won the 2009 Beachbound II 15u Tournament
  (2nd year in a row)

• Team wins the MAGNBL winter league 2008-2009

• (1) AB Future Player leads school to MCST state championship

• (1) AB Future Player helps to lead Grace Brethren to 20th/straight wins

• (1) AB Future Player helps high school variety team win the PVAC championship

• (2) AB Future Players are leading the 2008-2009 14u Bowie County team to a perfect 10-0 regular season

• (4) AB Future Players were selected to MAGNBL Winter league All-star game

• (2) AB Future Players led their middle school team to capture the 2008-2009 PG County Championship

• (2) AB Future Players led middle school team to win 2008 MAGNBL Holiday championship

• (1) AB Future Player wins 2008 MAGNBL Holiday MVP

• (5) AB Future Players were selected to PG County 2008-2009 all-star game

• (5) AB Future Players were selected to participate in the Jr. Phenom Camp in San Diego, CA

• (1) AB Future Player led Robert Goddard to perfect regular season 2008-2009

• (3) AB Future Players led Benjamin Tasker to perfect 2008-2009 regular season

• Team wins 2008 Maryland Stallions Youth Tournament

• Team wins 2008 Ocean City Beach Bound Tournament

• Team comes in 2^nd place 2008 AAU Super Regional's

• Team wins 2008 Nike Boo Williams grade based tournament

AB Future comes in 1st place in the Boo Williams 7^th grade tournament and 2^nd overall for girls   
   

June 26-27, 2008 in Hampton, Virginia.  The AB Future playing in the “Nike Boo Williams grade based girls Basketball tournament".   After going undefeated against all of their 7^th grade opponents in the tournament, the AB Future went into the championship game confident at 5-0 facing the 8^th grade champions Norfolk Express.  After leading the 8^th grade champions Norfolk Express most of the game, the AB Future loses to a last second shot by the Norfolk Express team - Final 50-48.
